Election season has kicked into high gear, and voters will have another chance to hear where the four candidates vying to become the next State Representative for District 10 stand on the issues.
The Minden Press-Herald, KASO Radio and the Minden chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People will sponsor a political forum Thursday.
The event will be held in the auditorium of Minden High School and will begin at 7 p.m.
"We're happy to partner with KASO and the NAACP to bring this event to the public," Press-Herald publisher Josh Beavers said.
Three Republicans and one Democrat filed for State Representative, District 10, the position term-limited by Democrat Jean Doerge.
Republicans are Ronnie Broughton, Jerri Ray de Pingre' and Gerald Holland. The Democrat is Gene Reynolds.
The election is scheduled for October 22. Early voting takes place October 8 through 15.
