"This was our final game of the season, and the girls played very well," Lady Apache softball coach Jonathan Hardy said. "It was also our Senior Day. I'd like to thanks Kayla Nicholas and Peyton Ruple for all the hard work they've done throughout their careers here at Glenbrook."
Rayla Hardaway led the way at the plate for the Lady Apaches as she homered and tripled. Three other Lady Apaches went three-for-four in the game, Kayla Nicholas (three singles), Shelby Nicholas (two singles and a triple) and Carsin Spurlock (three singles). Ruple singled and scored twice and Sunni Wilson doubled and scored twice. Melody Hanson had a pair of singles and Kristen Sherrill had a single and a double.
Jessica Mangrum took the win on the mound, her ninth, and had two singles.
