Toe-tapping Bluegrass music will be featured Saturday at the annual Germantown Blue Grass Festival.
Kicking off at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 24, the Bluegrass Festival will be jamming at the historic Germantown Colony Museum, 121 Museum Road, seven miles northeast of Minden.
"This outstanding annual festival features live bluegrass music, crafts and food for the entire family," said Lynn Dorsey, executive director of Webster Parish Convention and Visitors Bureau. "This is the annual fund-raiser for this Webster Parish historic treasure and a wonderful fall festival."
Live music is ongoing until 4 p.m. with Cynthia Sandidge as Mistress of Ceremonies.
The lineup of bluegrass bands includes Grand Prairie, C & K, Home Sweet Harmony, The Tim Pulley Band, Steppin' Out, Joyful Journey, Greysful and Sweet Tea.
"Do not forget to bring your lawn chairs," Dorsey said. "And parking is limited at the Germantown Colony Museum, so there will be complimentary shuttle buses from downtown Minden beginning at 9:30 a.m."
Admission is $5 for adults and free for children under 12.
