Francis Milam, 76, of Junction City, passed away Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011, at her home. Ms. Milam was born Dec. 23, 1934, in Taylor, Arkansas, to Clarence and Fronia Frances Edwards. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Summerfield.
Ms. Milam was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Roy Edwards and Herbert Edwards; and her sisters, Bessie Faye, Normie and Lavara.
She is survived by her sons, Ronnie McPherson and wife, Linda of Doyline and Michael McPherson of Commanche, Oklahoma; her daughter, Donna Cook and husband, Bryan of Junction City; her daughter-in-law, Terri McPherson of Commanche; her brother, Herman Edwards and wife, Joyce of Benton; her grandchildren, Jamie, Jason, Kim, Chrystal, Mike, Chamas, Matt, LeAnn, Andrea, Sonya and Chucky; her great-grandchildren, Rebecca, Savannah, Jake, Yazmin, Ashley, JaCorus, McKenzie, Jaydon, Juston, Gracey, Addyson, Ambree, Austin, Chris, Daniel, Alexis, Austin, Michael and Sayde; and her great-great-grandchild, Kashton.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011, at Bible Baptist Church in Summerfield, with the Rev. Danny Jackson and the Rev. Bobby Tucker officiating under the direction of Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps, Arkansas. Burial will be at Summerfield Cemetery in Summerfield. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. today (Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011), at Bible Baptist Church in Summerfield.Subscribe to Read!
