Kassie Tinkes, 30, of Yates Lane in Doyline was booked on charges of possession of CDS Schedule II (morphine), possession of CDS Schedule II (hydrocodone), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
"The arrest followed a search of Tinkes' vehicle that was conducted during a traffic stop on Carter Road for an improperly lit license plate," said Webster Parish Sheriff Gary Sexton. "During the search, officers found a glass pipe with suspected marijuana residue, and illegally possessed morphine and hydrocodone pills, all of which Tinkes claimed ownership."
Tinkes was placed under arrest and was transported and booked at Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center.
Arkansas woman arrested
In an unrelated case, CAD patrol deputies arrested a Crossett Arkansas woman for possession of CDS Sch. II and III.
Carolyn Ault, 40, was asked to step from her vehicle when she was stopped eastbound on Interstate 20.
"As she stepped out, the officers observed her adjusting her pants several times and while walking to the front of the vehicle, made several off-steps and awkward moves," Sexton said. "She was asked if there was something stuffed in her pants. After a moment she produced a plastic container that contained several pills identified to be Amphetamine, Hydrocodone and others identified by Poison Control. Ault was then arrested and transported to BDCC.
