Minden Community Chorus begins new season

Minden Community Chorus begins new season

Bill Cook (seated in foreground) joins in as the new director, Cindy Madden, (seated background) and some members of the Minden Community Chorus read a musical selection for their upcoming Christmas concert season. Rehearsals will be on Monday nights from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the City Art Works building. New members and former members are welcome to come join the rebirth of the chorus with their primary goal of reuniting the Minden area in song. The chorus will be performing locally, at Gibsland First Methodist Church and in Jefferson Texas. Preparations are underway for a "Hometown Christmas." Dates and time of the concerts will be announced in future editions of the Minden Press-Herald. For more information, contact Cindy Madden at 401-5420.
