Soto takes second at Tyler Lee Classic

The Lakeside Cross-Country teams participated in one of the largest CC meets in Northeast Texas at the Tyler Lee Classic.

The girls JV Division featured high school runners from classes 1-A, 2-A, and 3-A in Texas. Sixteen teams and 142 ladies competed over a hilly two-mile course. Seventh graders Nancy Silva and Brooke Walker finished 73rd and 97th respectively. Silva ran a time of 15:47 while Walker clocked a 16:43.
