Lady Tiders start fast, falter down stretch

The Minden High Lady Tiders looked as if they were going to cruise to an easy win Monday night after taking a 15-2 first quarter lead over Airline.

"Judging by the final score, you'd never know we were up by 13 points after the first," Minden coach Jacob Brown said. "We played excellent in the first quarter. We looked like we were pulling through the funk we've been in and were running the floor well and playing good defense."
