Tide to welcome Bucs to the Pit

Minden looks to improve to 3-0 with win over Haughton

The Minden Crimson Tide and Haughton Buccaneers have been long-time rivals, and Minden head coach Randy Peters knows that. But he wants his team to treat this game like any other on their schedule.

"We have talked about the week and the rivalry with Haughton," he said. "But more than that, we've talked about this being our next game. We certainly know Haughton has a good football team and all the things about the rivalry that goes with this game, but regardless of who we play, we have to go out and make plays on both sides of the ball and play good football start to finish."
