Bearcats take out Crimson Tide

Ruston bats prove too much for Minden pitching

The Minden Crimson Tide hosted the Ruston Bearcats Tuesday, losing by a final score of 18-3.

Ruston's bats battered the Tide pitching staff for 18 hits, including two home runs and six doubles.

Minden led 1-0 going into the top of the third inning, when the Bearcats scored four runs. Ruston added a pair of runs in the fourth, and then scored five in the fifth and seven in the sixth. The Tide added single runs in fourth and sixth innings.
