A Minden woman might still be cruising the streets if it weren't for an unreadable license plate.
Racheal Miller, 22, of the 300 block of McEachern Road, was arrested Sunday and charged with possesion of Sch. II Methamphetamine and possession of Sch. II Adderall. She was also cited for improper display of her license plate.
Minden Police Chief Steve Cropper said Officer 1st Class Danny Turner was patrolling on Shreveport Road at approximately 7 p.m. when he observed a vehicle with an obscured license plate.
"Officer Turner conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with Miller who was the driver," Cropper said. "Ms. Miller was asked for her driver's license, and appeared to be very nervous."
The chief said Turner obtained verbal consent to search the vehicle.
"Inside Miller's purse she possessed one-half tablet of Adderall and a small plastic bag containing suspected Methamphetamine," Cropper said. "A field test was positive for Meth."
Miller was arrested, charged and booked at the Minden Police Department. She was then transported to Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center.
