An undisclosed medical emergency landed a Minden woman in a different quandry with local law enforcement.
Yolanda Frazier, 33, of the 500 block of South Street, was arrested by Minden police and charged with felony possession of CDS Sch. I (marijuana).
Police Chief Steve Cropper said he is unsure what type of medical emergency was reported at the South Street address, but the call came in very early November 28.
"At approximately four o'clock in the morning, we dispatched Sgt. James Barnes, Ofc. Joel Kendrick and Off. Clint Smith in reference to a medical assist," Cropper said. "When officers arrived and entered the residence, they observed marijuana in plain sight in an ash tray."
After further investigation, three additional bags of marijuana were reportedly located.
Frazier was booked at the Minden Police Department and transported to Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center.
