Johni Lee Dick

Mr. Johni Lee Dick, 58, was born Feb. 22, 1954 in Cotton Valley to Bobby Lee Dick, Sr. and Joyce Downs Dick and passed away Friday, Sep. 14, 2012 at his home in Haynesville. He was of the Pentecostal faith, worked in construction and served four years in the Navy.

He is survived by his mother, Joyce Downs Dick of Cotton Valley; one brother, Bobby Lee Dick Jr. (Bug), of Cotton Valley; one sister, Frances Dick Kenly McKnight, of El Dorado, Arkansas; ex-wife, Cathy Dick Dye, of Yantis, Texas; daughter, Jody Dick Strahan Rankin and husband, David of Haynesville; stepson, Jimmie (Jimbo) Keen of Carthage, Missouri; stepdaughter, Daenna Keen Kellogg, of Gladstone, Missour and her six children; nine grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Randy Kenly, Sr. and Chris McKnight; aunts, Bonnie Downs and Verona Downs-Dyck; uncles, Jack Downs and wife, Rose of Minden; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Lee Dick, Sr.; grandparents, Ben and Ora Benson Downs; aunts, Evonne Downs, "Tootsie" Downs, "Tinnie" Downs McCann, Shirley Downs Owen and Alpha Lowe Downs; uncles, Ben Jr. Downs, David Downs, Ralph McCann, Lynn Owen, Jerry Wayne Downs, Bobby Ray Downs, Larry Downs and Richard (Rick) Downs.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012 at Cotton Valley Pentecostal Church in Cotton Valley on Hwy. 371.
