The Glenbrook lady Apaches improved their record to 15-4 (6-0 in district) with an 11-6 win over the Riverfield Lady Raiders on Tuesday.
Jessica Mangrum improved her record to 7-1 as she was the winning pitcher. Gracyn Gorman pitched the fifth, sixth and sevgnth innings to pick up the save.
Carsin Spurlock led the way at the plate with a single, double and three RBIs.
"Carsin had a big day," Lady Apache head coach Jonathan Hardy said. "She had three key RBIs in the middle of the game that put us ahead and kept us ahead."
Shelby Nicholas had a two-run single and Gorman added two singles. Melody Hanson had a bunt single and Tiffany Mosley had a pinch RBI-single. Megan Sims had a RBI-single, Macey Branch singled and Gorman added a base hit.
Next up for the Lady Apaches is a 2 p.m. make-up game on Saturday with Franklin Academy.
