Cooper Tires, Cardinal Gas get coach pitch wins


The Minden little leaguers were back in action Thursday night on the fields of the Minden Recreation Complex.

Coach Pitch

Cooper Tires 18, Minden Athletic 9

Kendall Flournoy doubled, tripled and homered to lead Cooper Tires. Dayton Sims, CJ Watts and Jake Williams all had three hits, and Cason Clemens, Carter Barnett and Chase Tolbert all had two hits.

Collin Murphy, Jake Chumley, Keegan Bryan and Reggie Reed all singled.

Price Miller singled twice and homered to lead Athletic. Tyler Daughtery and Brandon Winston both had three hits and Jace Delaoch and Seth Leveque both had two hits. Mason Lewis, Xavier Bucknor and Jacob King all added base hits.

Cardinal Gas Storage 8, Swain's Sluggers 6

Trey Yetman, Jacob powell, Trent Harber and JP Parker all had two hits to lead Cardinal Gas. Abe Pye, Bradley Dick, Kevin Gill, Rictavious Harris, Justice Rasbury, Zac Shaw and Connor Woods all added base hits.

Chase Hammons, Montavious Maddox and Gavin Sanders all homered to lead Swain's. Hammons and Maddox also had singles. Jaylin Williams, Broox Swain, Timothy Berry and Cameron Pope added base hits.


Vintage Car Club 19, Astros 6

Aldravion Taylor, Shondell Gill, Travion Sanders and Trenton McLaughlin all singled and homered to lead Vintage. Mclaughlin also tripled. Justin Richardson and Kiernan Combs both had three hits, and Antonio Coleman and Cade Johnson both had two hits. james Smith and Noel Howell both added singles.

Tristan Murray had two hits to lead the Astros. Blain Sparks, Peyton Wells, Jacob Vanlangendonck, Hunter Nutt, Cedric Williams, Jacob McDonald and Brandon Beck all added base hits.

J&J Livestock 13, Minden Pediatric 0

Carson Parker and Cameron Johnson both doubled, tripled and homered to lead J&J. Dustin Hunter had three hits and Raymond Dillard and Kyus Gros both had two hits. Hagen Land, EJ Martin and Titus Sterling added base hits.

Mason Harper doubled for Minden Pediatric.

Rangers 14, Swain's Sluggers 3

Chase Holley, Jeffrey Wallace and London Hopkins all had two hits to lead the Rangers. Cade Thomas, Hayden Brown, Jackson Powell, Michael Weir, Cole Osborn and Jedyah Taylor all added base hits.

Michael Smith, Royquez Shehee and Jakob Walker all had hits for Swain's.

Holly Land Management 11, Castor 0

Thomas Rhame and Trent Walraven both had two hits to lead Holly Land Management. walker Wise, Corbin Kendrick, matthew Seales, Brian Foster, Aiden Harris and Chandler Stockton all added base hits.


La. State Realty 13, Shutterbugs View 2

Johnny law Flournoy struck out six batters and singled to lead La. State. AJ Crow doubled and Hunter Wilkes and JC Brown added singles.

Ben Calhoun singled and Nick Williams struck out four batters to lead Shutterbugs View.

Dixie Youth

Gray's Diamondbacks 10, Minden Athletic 5

Peyton Gray doubled twice to lead the D'backs. Connor davis struck out five batters and singled, and Kory McGee struck out four batters. Jarynn Lindsey, Grayson Harper and Hayden Humphries all added base hits.

Marcus Smith and Nick Burge both tripled to lead Athletic. Andre Moore struck out five batters and singled.

Frizzell Consulting 4, Minden Farm & Garden 0

Tyrese Myles, Chase Mitchell and Bryce Taylor all had two hits to lead Frizzell. hayden Williams struck out five batters and Colin Frizzell struck out four. Billy Cage, Sam Hesser and Clint Ray added base hits.

Zi Baker, Austin Clemmens and Nick Mourad all had base hits for MF&G.

Dixie Boys

The Tide 10, Hawkeyes 6

Matt Eskew singled and homered to lead the Tide. Turner Francis and Aubrey Dennis both had two hits and Cade Coleman, Skyler Jones and Walker Williams all added base hits.

Dillion Simpson struck out six batters to lead the Hawkeyes. Colt Wilson singled twice and Tanner Lipinski, Davin Moore, Aaron Morgan and Brian McLaughlin all added base hits.

Reagan Rx 9, Braves 1

Spencer White struck out nine batters to lead Reagan's. Lyle Reagan and Triston Dye both had two hits, and Caden Copeland doubled. Michael Turner added a single.

Clayton Festavan tripled to lead the Braves.


VPW 9, Photos by D 8

Taylor Williamson singled and Stormie Johnson struck out three batters to lead VPW.

Taylor Sutter homered to lead Photos by D. Anna Cox struck out four batters and singled, and Katie Kidd, Shelby Nicholas and Antasia Rhodes all added base hits.

Rebels 7, 38 Reasons 2

Molly Wilson struck out five batters and Kinsey Wiggins and Anne Durr both singled for the Rebels.

Kayla Cage struck out three batters and Metosha Gill and Mariah washington both singled for 38 Reasons.


Subway 15, Peterson Shell 0

Ahmani Owens and Jaylah Shine combined fro a no-hitter to lead Subway. Shine also added two hits.

O'Shea 9, Aftershocks 6

Carsin Spurlock and Taylor Corbit both struck out four batters to lead O'Shea. Allie Maness singled.

Nikki Riley, Deidre Johnson and Madison Harris all singled for Aftershocks.


Diamond Divas 16, Minden Athletic 0

Emma Mayfield singled twice and homered to lead the Divas. Aubrie Dickson and Alyssa Martin both had three hits and Kara Bryce and Kendelle Williams both had two hits. Kannon Butler, Baylee Hough, Faith Earnhardt, Sara Cox and Samantha Sentell all added base hits.

Brooke Day, Kasey Hesser and Abby Zemitaitis all singled for Athletic.


Lady Bugs 14, Cooksey's 13

Alexis Hadnot homered twice to lead the Lady Bugs. Kaitlian McKnight, Cassidy Blagg, Kyleigh Warmack, Gracie Sivils, Kendall Vize and Christalyn McDaniel all had three hits. Trista Reed had two hits and Di'Nieva Debose had one.

Alisa Clayton, Kelsey Waltman and Treylin Cleveland all had three hits to lead Cooksey's. Ciara Gibson, Jadan Gray, Kayleighh DeWoody and Kasey Sullivan all had two hits. Alesus Youngblood, Grace Brennan and Lexi Prince all added base hits.

Bell Construction 14, Dragonflies 9

Hollan Haynes and Savannah Wilson both had three hits to lead Bell. Kaylee Davis, Bree Hamilton and Lauren Stell all had two hits. Kaylin Williams, Mallory Pesnell, Marilya McClendon, Lizzie Walker, Alyssa Valentine, Lizzie Tuttle and Hannah Michael all added base hits.

Alivia McKenzie homered to lead the Dragonflies. Natalie Jumper and Laney Taylor both had three hits and Skye McKenzie and Kenda Lynn both had two. Emma Greer tripled and Christin Moore doubled. Kacee Nixon and Mary Ashton Franks both singled.
