U.S. D.E.A. agent trains with Clyde Stanley

U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, Supervisory Special Agent Keith D. Billiot traveled to Clyde Stanley's Martial Arts for advanced hand-to-hand combat training.

Keith has been with the DEA for over 20 years and has been a Supervisor for a drug task force in New Orleans for the past three years. He is being deployed to Kabul, Afghanistan as the Regional Director of the DEA Training Team there.

Over the years, Keith has trained with Clyde Stanley in close quarter combat. He has brought other DEA agents, DEA Swat Teams, Drug Task Force members, as well as the Shreveport Swat Team to Minden to learn from Sensei Stanley. Several techniques taught by Sensei Stanley have been added to the DEA training manuals at the DEA training center in Quantico, Virginia.

"Clyde Stanley is simply a phenomenal instructor. The good folks in Minden don't realize that MMA fighters throughout the United States travel to Minden, and also pay him to travel to them, just for the opportunity to train under him. On top of that, he is just a good person."

While in Minden, Keith spoke to several classes at Minden High School about leadership and careers in the DEA. This is his fourth annual visit to the school at the request of Coach Mike Dick and Principal, Robin Tucker.
