Doyline wrestling makes it's mark

The Doyline wrestling team turned in a great performance in last week's 2012 Division III State Wrestling Championships.

"I would like to Congratulate Sidney "Gage" Brunson on making All-State Wrestler in the 220 pound weight class," Doyline coach John Smith said. "This is a great accomplishment for such a young team."

Other great performances were turned in by Levi Dufour in the 120 weight class, as he went 1-3. In the 132 pound class, Christopher Inocencio went 3-2. Jeffery Clark@132 went 2-2, John Inocencio@145 went 2-2, and Jesse Morado@152 went 1-2.

The Doyline wrestlers finished 12th out of 23 teams in the event.

"These wrestlers deserve great credit for the sacrifices they've made to accomplish the great tasks that were placed upon them," Smith said. "Great job Panthers."
