Lakeside Tournament highlights week’s games

The high school baseball season is now in full swing, here's a look at this week's games.

Minden High

The Crimson Tide is coming off a good showing in their Minden High Invitational, and now they will get back in action tonight as they head to Sibley to take on the Lakeside Warriors at 6 p.m.

The rest of the week, the Tide will take part in the Lakeside Tournament that begins on Thursday.


The Warriors had a tough time in the Minden tournament, and they hope to bounce back as they host their own.

But first, the Warriors will host Minden High today at 6 p.m.


Today, the Glenbrook Apaches will travel to Rayville to take on Riverfield Academy for their first district game. The junior varsity game starts at 4 p.m,. and the varsity game will follow.

Saturday, the Apaches will host the Prairie View Spartans in a pair of games. The varsity will play at 11 a.m., with the junior varsity game right after.


The Doyline Panthers played very well in the Haynesville Round Robin over the weekend, and they hope to carry over that momentum into this week.

The Panthers will host Haynesville today and then will play in the Castor Tournament Thursday through Saturday.

North Webster

The North Webster Knights have started the season on a hot streak, and will look to continue with that as they play in the Airline/Haughton Tournament beginning on Thursday.

But first, they will travel to Farmerville today to take on Farmerville High School.
