The Minden High basketball teams hosted district rival Huntington Friday night in a pair of important District 1-4A games. Unfortunately, Huntington won both games, hurting the district title hopes of both the Tide and Lady Tiders.
The Crimson Tide and Raiders were tied for first place. With a win the Tide would hold sole possession of the district lead, but a loss would drop them to second place. And a loss is what they got, as Huntington beat the Tide, 63-47.
