Even with temperatures falling and ice forming over the last two days, Minden Mayor Bill Robertson said city power outages should be at a minimum. "We've been aggressive in our attempt to trim trees away from power lines," he said. Should ice form on local roadways, Robertson said the street department has plenty of sand on-hand.
