PINEVILLE — The Glenbrook basketball teams traveled to Pineville Tuesday night for a pair of district games with Cenla Academy.
Unfortunately for Glenbrook, both teams took loses, as the Apaches fell, 96-91, and the lady Apaches lost, 40-21.
"I'm sure it was a very entertaining game for the fans, but it was tough on us," Apache coach Todd Spurlock said. "In the end, a couple of plays didn't go our way and it slipped away from us. But I'm proud of my guys and the way they played hard."
Jalen Patterson led Glenbrook with 41 points and Cade Spurlock dropped in 21. Maurice Moore added 14.
"We played hard. We just couldn't get our shots to fall," Lady Apache coach Rendi Dillard said. "Cenla has a quick team and some great shooters."
Carsin Spurlock led the Lady Apaches with nine points, Jessica Mangrum added four and Macie Branch, Lauren Sims, Catherine Willis and Shelby Nicholas all had two.
