Police jury discusses board ordinance

Most of the various boards under the umbrella of the Webster Parish Police Jury comply with state requirements pertaining to meetings and records, and jurors want to keep it that way as well as bring others into compliance.

During Tuesday's intergovernmental committee meeting, jurors discussed implementing reminders of an ordinance passed in June 2012 that requires boards created by the jury, including fire district, water works and communications, to file an annual report with the jury.
