The City of Minden is implementing a voluntary outdoor watering schedule beginning today until further notice to help reduce stress on the water supply.

"With no rain or only a few showers in the forecast for the near future, it is necessary to promote outdoor water use reduction now and in the coming weeks," said Mayor Bill Robertson.
