A look at this week’s basketball

Minden, and North Webster  at home tonight

Now that the holiday tournaments are over, the Webster Parish basketball teams will get back to their regular schedules and into their district games.

Minden High

The Crimson Tide and Lady Tiders will start off their post-holiday schedule with home district games against Benton High School.

The varsity girls will tip off at 6 p.m., with the varsity boys at approximately 7 p.m.


Coming off a very successful Don Stahl Memorial Tournament, the Lakeside Warriors and Lady Warriors will play two road district games this week.

Tonight the teams will head to Jonesboro-Hodge, and Friday they will play at Sterlington.


The Glenbrook Apaches and Lady Apaches will travel to Pineville to take on the Cenla Christian Academy.

Friday, the teams will host Union Christian in a pair of district games at the Minden Recreation Complex.


The Panthers and Lady Panthers have improved greatly as the season has progressed, and they will look to continue that improvement as they begin district play this week.

Tonight, Doyline travels to Castor, and then on Friday they will host Quitman.

North Webster

The two North Webster teams will play a pair of district games at home this week.

Tonight, they will host North Caddo and then will host Mansfield on Friday.

The Knights will try to keep up the momentum they gained while winning the Don Stahl Memorial Tournament this weekend at Lakeside.
