Services celebrating the life of Elois Halley Synco Bryan (Mama Sync) will be held Friday, Oct. 12, 2012 at 9 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Minden. Officiating will be Rev. Leland Crawford. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends today (Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012) from 5 until 7 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
Elois was born Oct. 28, 1924 at Baskin in Franklin Parish and God called her home Oct. 9, 2012.
She was the matriarch of the Synco family and we will miss her dearly. She was an inspiration to each of us and we thank God for sharing her with us. Elois was a member of First Baptist Church of Minden. Her strength came from her faith in God, church, her family and Christian friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Alexander Synco; second husband, William (Bill) Bryan; sister, Hazel Coker; and brother, Ray Halley.
Left to cherish her beautiful memories are her son, Britt L. Synco and wife, Joye of Homer; daughter, Judith Folds and husband, Dennis of Tokyo, Japan; stepson, Steve Bryan and wife, Janice of Minden; stepdaughter, Celia Kay Frazier of Shreveport; sister, Mallie Ruth Norrell of Crossett, Arkansas; brothers, Julius A. Halley of West Monroe and Terry M. Halley of Crossett, Arkansas; grandchildren, Vallary Synco Campbell and husband, Craig of Harrison, Arkansas, John Synco and wife, Ashleigh of Homer, Lisa Folds Ryan and husband, Steve of Yamagata, Japan and Lori Folds Hebert and husband, Brian of Montpelier, Vermont; and 12 great-grandchildren.
