Minden city workers replace two rotted pipes that carry water under East Todd from Country Club Circle to Cooley Creek. Public works director George Rolfe said the $65,500 project, which is in the 2013-14 city budget, will take about four weeks. "We are replacing the two parallel corrugated steel pipes with arched, reinforced concrete pipes," Rolfe said. "It is not a simple project because you have other lines that run under the street – water lines, sewer and gas. There is limited space."
