Candidates begin qualifying today

First out of the starting gate Wednesday, signing up to run for re-election, are Bossier-Webster District Attorney Schuyler Marvin, left, Minden Police Chief Steve Cropper and Minden Mayor Tommy Davis, with the help of Webster Parish Clerk of Court Holli Vining. Candidates in the November 4 primary election may qualify to run for office on the third floor of the courthouse from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. today through Friday.
