The Glenbrook Lady Apaches lost a district game to Cenla Academy Friday night, 49-32.
"Despite the loss the girls really played well," Lady Apache head coach Rendi Dillard. "We were down by 12 at half time and came out in the second half on fire defensively. We forced them to turn the ball over on their first five possesions after the half."
The Lady Apaches got to within one point, but could not hold onto the momentum.
"Overall I am really proud of the girls and how hard they played," Dillard said. "Lauren Sims had a great defensive game. She really stepped up and made some great stops. She led tus with 16 points."
Carsin Spurlock added 13 points and Shelby Nicholas had three.
