Car crashes into church sign

Car crashes into church sign

Minden rescue used the Jaws of Life to remove a woman from her Honda Accord Wednesday afternoon, after a two-vehicle crash on Broadway. The driver of a Honda Civic crossing Broadway heading north on Lewisville Road reportedly T-boned the Accord, which then traveled several yards into the front yard of Minden Presbyterian Church, taking with it the church's sign. The driver of the Accord was transported to Minden Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.
Police said the driver of the Civic was cited for failure to yield.
