God will never leave us

The scripture in a devotional book I have by Corrie Ten Boom, a Christian Holocaust survivor that survived prison, the other day was Hebrews 13:5 which says Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I WILL NEVER LEAVE THEE, NOR FORSAKE THEE. Hebrews 13:6 says

So that we may boldly say, THE LORD IS MY HELPER, AND I WILL NOT FEAR WHAT MAN SHALL DO UNTO ME. Being in jail, Corrie was probably tempted with covetousness of things people not in jail had. Covetousness is dangerous. Wanting what someone else has at a level where it causes jealousy is bad.
