DOYLINE —The Doyline Lady Panthers (15-7 overall, 3-1 in district) trailed eary, but used a big second half, including a 38-point fourth quarter, to power past Castor, 63-49, Friday night.
Castor led 11-3 at the end of the first quarter, and 24-12, at the half. But the lady panthers re-grouped at halftime, and out-scored Castor, 51-25 in the second half, including 38-11 in the fourth quarter.
Chantrell Johnson led Doyline with 40 points and Shanelle Allen added 16.
Rebels 64, Knights 63
VIVIAN—The North Webster Knights dropped a close district game to North Caddo, 64-63, Friday night.
The Knights dropped to 3-2 in District 1-2A and 13-5 overall.
The Knights led 15-13 at the end of the first quarter, but North Caddo out-scored them, 14-9, to take a 27-24 halftime lead. North Webster took the third quarter, 20-15, but North Caddo came back, 22-19, in the fourth to squeeze out the 64-63 win.
Dontavion Smith led North Webster with 16 points and Lyntravious Gipson added 14. Willie Lee added 15 points and Devin White scored nine.
