Lakeside tops Red River

COUSHATTA — The Lakeside Warriors rolled past Red River Thursday, shu­­tting out the Bulldogs, 19-0.

The Warriors out-hit the Bulldogs 20-2 and scored three runs in the first, 10 in the second, one in the third, three in the fourth and two more in the fifth.

Josh Prince, Luke Griffith and Jake Gray all shared the load on the mound. Prince started and went the first two innings, allowing no hits and striking out four. Griffith struck out three in a scoreless, hitless inning, and Jake Gray closed out the final two, allowing two hits and striking out five.
