Commission gets good review

Webster Parish Convention and Visitors Commission (WPCVC) got an "all is well" on its annual financial review at its August 21 meeting.

"Based on their revenues, WPCVC was required to have what is referred to as a review," Kristine Cole of Jamieson, Wise and Martin said. "A review is a little bit less in scope than an audit.

"When we perform the review, we do some different procedures to verify whether or not there needs to be any modifications to (the reported WPCVC financial data)," she continued. "As a result of the procedures that we did perform, there were no modifications that needed to be made."
