Two arrested on multiple drug charges

SPRINGHILL — Two north Webster Parish men are facing a variety of drug-related charges as the result of an undercover operation successfully conducted by members of the North Webster Narcotic Task Force, a collection of agents from the Springhill Police Department and parish Sheriff's Office.

"Task force agents had set up surveillance on an Elmwood Street residence where we had purchased methamphetamine during our undercover operation," Springhill Chief of Police Will Lynd said. "We saw our suspect get into a pickup and served a warrant on him. We also obtained permission to search the vehicle in which he was a passenger."
