Minden alumnae celebrates centennial

Minden alumnae celebrates centennial

The Minden Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. met at the Minden Housing Authority to commemorate the 22 college educated women who, on January 13, 1913, at Howard University, founded and chartered the largest sorority or fraternity in the world.

It now has over 920 chapters with over 250,000 active members.
