Webster superintendent reacts to Jindal's Common Core move

Governor Bobby Jindal wants the state Dept. of Education to begin a competitive bid process to purchase Common Core-related standardized tests designed to measure progress of students in grades three through eight.

Jindal said the current Common Core test, the Partnership of Assessments for College and Career Readiness (PARCC), appears to be the most expensive available and expressed confidence they could not be picked in competitive bidding.
