National Night out to be held Oct. 7

National Night out to be held Oct. 7

Fall is block party time in Minden and all citizens are encouraged by local officials and law enforcement to schedule a party on their block in observance of National Night Out. Registration is at Minden City Hall from September 8 through October 3 with October 7 as National Night Out.

District C Minden City Councilwoman Magaline Quarles said moving NNO from August to October has encouraged more participation with cooler temperatures.
