Author to speak, donations to go to Providence House

Artist and author, Jasmine Morelock-Field, of Shreveport, will be giving a review of her book titled Valerie at the Minden Library Thursday, June 27 at 3 p.m.

Morelock-Field's was motivated to write after her daughter was murdered in 1972 while a student at LSU in Baton Rouge.
