The North Webster/Springhill Narcotics Task Force spent Tuesday in an arrest blitz in the northern part of the parish.
Lt. Shawn Baker, with Webster Parish Sheriff's Office, Springhill Police Chief Will Lynd, Springhill Det. Ronald Wedgeworth, Springhill Sgt. Sal Gonzalez, Springhill Det. Bryan Montgomery and Cullen Police Lt. Leon Thirdgill arrested four persons in the Springhill/Sarepta/Cullen area and served a warrant to one already incarcerated at Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center (BDCC) for distribution of various drugs.
Emanual D. Germany, 29, of the 100 block of Oak Street, Springhill, was arrested on East Road in Cullen on two active distribution charges of crack cocaine. Lynd and Gonzalez reportedly made contact with Germany and during a pat-down for officer safety, discovered a small amount of suspected marijuana in his hooded jacket. A charge of felony possession of marijuana was added. He was transported to BDCC and is held under a bond of $100,000 for the distribution charges. By Thursday, no bond had been set on the marijuana possession charge.
Kenneth Anthony Cailiste, 57, of 700 East Road, Sarepta, was arrested at his residence on three active distribution warrants for crack cocaine. According to reports, he was taken without incident, transported to Springhill Police Department and later to BDCC where he is held under a $105,000 bond.
Billy Wayne Manning, 60, of the 400 block of Patterson Street, Springhill, was arrested at his residence on one count of distribution of marijuana. He is held at BDCC under a $10,000 bond.
Meiko L. Prevo, 33, of the 100 block of Abbott Circle, Cullen, was arrested at her residence on an active warrant for distribution of crack cocaine. She is being held at BDCC under a bond of $40,000.
Tommy Lee Morgan, Jr., 43, of South Park Drive, Springhill, was located at BDCC by narcotics agents. A warrant for distribution of Hydrocodone was served to Morgan at BDCC. A bond of $25,000 was added.
