Webster Angels, Heflin get league wins

Results from Monday night's little league baseball schedule at the Minden Recreation Complex.

Dixie Boys

Webster Angels 12, Subway 4

Aaron Martin ripped an inside-the-park home run to lead Webster. Trent Geis and Brian McLaughlin both had two hits, and Clint Ray, Austin Wall, Clayton Corley, Hunter Alford and Justin Swilley all added singles. Ray also struck out five batters.

Hunter Carter singled and doubled to lead Subway. Kelsey Miller doubled and Colby Myers, TaShawn Bailey and Logan Wafer all singled.

Dixie Youth

Heflin Pirates 13, Anytime Fitness 9

Drake Austin struck out six batters and tripled and singled to lead the Pirates. Alex Haynie and Timothy Ramsey both singled and doubled and Tigger Key singled.

Cayden Volentine tripled and Peter Howard doubled to lead Anytime. Tim Weatherton and Cameron Rodgers both singled.

La. State Realty 15, Party Express 7

Hunter Wilkes struck out seven batters. homered and doubled to lead La. State. Adam Petty and Hayden Humphrey both had two hits, and Haynes Mandino doubled. Jaryn Lindsay, Cody Chase and Garrett Heamsberger all singled.

Jack Adams, Rodney Johnson and Keeyon Ward all singled for Party Express.


La. State Realty 13, Frizzell Consulting 3

Austin King singled and doubled and Cade Clemons doubled to lead La. State. Kiernan Combs, JC Brown and Greg Douglas all singled.

Tre Abney singled for Frizzell.

Crimson Tide 20, Gulf State Consulting 4

Aaron Martin tripled and Austin Wall doubled to lead Webster. Trevor Chandler, Holter Frye, Trent Geis and Clint Ray all singled.

Bryce Taylor singled twice and Logan Wafer doubled to lead Subway. Tashun Bailey and Hunter Carter both singled. Demetrius Debose had three hits to lead the Tide. Jeffery Wallace and Chance Mitchell both doubled and Je'Dyah Taylor and Josh Mitchell both singled.

Ryan Sheets struck out six batters and Cade Ebarb doubled for Gulf State.

Hopper Machines 14, Kwick Car Wash 11

Thomas Rhame struck out eight batters and singled to lead Hopper Machine. James Killingsworth tripled and Zack Hensel and Corbin Kendrick both doubled. Hayden Finley singled.

Nick Williams struck out eight batters and homered to lead Kwick Car Wash. Ken Parker and Trenton McLaughlin both had two hits.

JDG Inspection 21, Gibsland Bank & Trust 8

Cody Johnson, Luke Dickinson and Kevin Ward each had three hits to lead JDG. Kenneth Gipson and Brandon Scott both had two hits. Lee Ware III struck out five batters and singled and Justin Nixon added a base hit.

Hayden Brown struck out six batters and singled and Jackson Powell had three singles to lead GB&T.


U.S. Silica 9, Cooper Tires 4

Juicy Clark homered twice and Javion Harris singled twice and homered to lead U.S. Silica. A.J. Coleman doubled and homered and J.T. Edge tripled. Rick Harris and Tyler Jefferson both singled.

Michael Weir singled and doubled to lead Cooper Tires. Jakob Bogan, Keaton Lofton, Blake Bradley and Cole Osbon all singled.

Rozeman's Rookies 14, Miller Appraisal 2

Landon Hopkins and Andrew Fegley both doubled and homered to lead the Rookies. Kenny James, Trey Bradley and Cooper Parks all had two hits and William Davis, Jaquez Jackson and Daquez Jackson all doubled. Lane Dillon added a single.

Reggie Reed, Hagan Land and Raymond Dillard all singled for Miller Appraisal.

Crushers 6, Mayfield Plumbing 4

C.J. Watts and Peyton Wells both doubled and tripled to lead the Crushers. Jake Wilkins had two singles and Ethan Latour had one.

Jackson Mayfield and Jaylin Williams both tripled to lead Mayfield. Connor Humphrey singled and doubled and Drew Cate, Chase Hammons and Drake Freeman all added base hits.

Minden Athletic 12, 3 C's Properties 0

Roma Tolbert tripled and homered and Dayton Sims and Cason Clemens both homered to lead Athletic. Andrew Cooper, Cameron Herman and Maddox Mandino all had two hits. Cooper Chase, Caid Young and Chase Sentell all singled.

Dexter Smith tripled and Ty Green doubled for 3 C's.
