Graveside services for Clarence L. Fischer, 93, will be held, Wednesday Feb. 27, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Forest Park East Cemetery, with Pastor Buster Page officiating.
Clarence was born May 31, 1919 in Newark, New Jersey to parents Leonard Peter and Emily Schulze Fischer and went to be with the Lord on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013.
He proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Air Force and retired after 23 years as a Senior Master Sergeant.

Vicky and Fischer combined their families and were married more than 50 years.
After retirement from the Air Force, they owned and operated the Ramada Inn in Minden for many years. Clary Fischer was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was also blessed with caring sisters, nieces, and nephews. He loved people and loved the Lord!
He is survived by sons, Donald and Greg Fischer; sisters, Gloria McHale and Lee Scott; grandchildren, Denise and Robbie Kelly, Tammy and Rod Pilgreen, Jason and Jennifer Nehring, Rodney Kennon, Kelly and Don Gillis and Justin Fischer; 13 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
